Wishing all the homeless dog and cats, puppies and kittens, (as well as mice, ferrets, gerbils) of Worcester County have loving homes for the holidays?
Then check out tomorrow’s (SUNDAY, DEC. 6) open house at the Worcester Animal Rescue League on Holden Street (Worcester)! From 1 p.m to 4 p.m. Dec. 6 WARL staffers and volunteers will treat you to holiday yummies, music, tours of the kennels and facility and more! Best of all you can visit with all their animals – and hopefully adopt one or two. I visit WARL all the time – adopted both my dogs from WARL.
There are so many amazing animals dumped by so many un-impressive human beings. As of this past Friday they had: Beautiful Bully dogs, an Afghan hound mix, some cute Jack Russel mix puppies (puppies always go fastest) and adorable, adorable kittens and cats.
Oooops! I almost forgot! Also on hand during WARL’s holiday openhouse: animal control officers, veterinarians and vet technicians who can give you great tips/advice on pet care/health.
Also, don’t forget to ask about WARL’s special adoption pograms – great ways to save money and do the right thing. Please learn more about WARL programs, like:
* Senior (dog/cats) for Seniors (people) program: adoption fees reduced! For a dog ( 7 + years), cost: only $100. Wow!!!
* Any dog/cat who’s been at the shelter for more than a month (heart-breaking!) – adoption fee: 1/2 price!
All WARL’s dogs/cats/pups/kittens are spayed or neutered, vet-checked and up-to-date on all their vaccinations. They are loved, socialized and cared for at WARL, but they need YOU to give them their forever-homes!
Please check out this wonderful Worcester institution!
