The Sprinkler Factory – a great location to display and perform unconventional art and music!

Harlowe Street, Worcester 

Artists Jill Watts, Laura Cahalane, J-me Johnston and Peter S. Wise are pleased to announce an art exhibit and multimedia event at The Sprinkler  Factory on Harlowe Street.

There will be both an opening reception and closing reception this summer, with closing reception date and time to be announced.

J-Me contrctionThere is no entry fee and light refreshments will be available, also free.

The public is invited!

Dates and times of  gallery hours will be listed on the Facebook page for The Sprinkler Factory as well as the page, “Konstruct: Modern Primitives” on Facebook.

The participating visual artists state:  “All four participants are well versed in the formal aspects of Western European Art but have chosen to move beyond the mechanistic/scientific model of the world to attempt to include more of the human condition in their art.”

Included in the exhibit will be:

textiles

constructions

assemblages

mixed media works

paintings  

… and musical events performed by Industrial Sonic Echo.

As a preview to the Konstruct event, J-me Johnston has ArtsWorcester’s “One More” exhibit.

Visual artists featured are:

Don Hartmann, J-me Johnston and Jill Watts. And Luis Fraire.

Both events will enhance Worcester’s growing reputation as a home for progressive art and music, as well The Sprinkler Factory’s well earned reputation as a great location to display and perform unconventional art and music!
