Bicycle Gran Fondo New England, offering recreational routes of 35, 39, 65 or 104 miles on back roads of Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. It’s not a race! The longest route is the Major Taylor Century, co-presented by Seven Hills Wheelmen; a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Major Taylor Association. The 35- and 65-mile routes are completely paved; the 39-mile and 104-mile routes have some gravel segments. All rides start at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2106, at at Thompson Motorsports Speedway, 205 E. Thompson Road, Thompson, Conn.
