3rd Annual Caribbean American Carnival ~ Love and Unity
Institute Park. TODAY! SUNDAY, AUGUST 30
Parade starts at 1:30 pm at 305 Chandler St. and ends at Institute Park on Salisbury Street.
Vendors and Performers will be at Institute Park from noon.
The Worcester Caribbean American Carnival Association (W.C.A.C.A) enters its third year of bringing Caribbean culture to the city of Worcester.
WCACA is dedicated to the empowerment of people, preservation of Caribbean tradition and respect for cultural diversity.
Using the Worcester Caribbean American Carnival as a vehicle, we seek to promote a broader understanding and deeper appreciation of Caribbean culture.
The Worcester Caribbean American Carnival Association membership board provides organizational leadership and vision, maintains high ethical standards in accordance with our mission statement, engages in effective planning to recognize and promote understanding of the Caribbean diaspora.
This event is one of my favorites! Along with all the activities adding up to the day, it is incredible to see all the floats and dancers coming down Park Avenue in all their glory!
If you have not been to this event, you are doing yourself a dis-service!
