Just heard that Tom Petty’s champagne colored jag is up for auction on Ebay – with all proceeds going to the FANTASTIC organization Doctors Without Borders. (“Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) works in nearly 70 countries providing medical aid to those most in need regardless of their race, religion, or political affiliation.” – see their website, below)

I myself drive a jalopy, but the Jaguar is my favorite automobile – love the hood ornament! Maybe YOU can bid on Petty’s jag and have your money go to this great nonprofit. You think our servicemen and women are the only ones in Iraq or Afghanistan who are getting half their faces blown off? Nope! It’s little Middle Eastern kids, too.

Petty’s jag is a 1996 – one of his favorite cars, he says. Ours, too! Click on the link below to bid on it.

Lastly, just this past week, I pulled out one of my old lp’s – Petty’s “Damn the Torpedoes.”  Fantastic!
