Those Worcester downtown-development Chicken Littles!

I can’t believe there are some folks in town who are trying to kill a tiny coffee shop at City Hall – a basic coffee shop run by folks with special needs. A coffee shop run by Seven Hills, a great local non-profit that has been around for YEARS, has the respect of the entire community and employs scores and scores of Worcester/local folks –  creating jobs, pumping up the local economy – all the while enriching the lives of thousands of people who would otherwise be left behind …

Here are some photos of the Seven Hills coffee shop which is located in the Seven Hills Foundation building on Hope Ave. So basic! And yet the naysayers are so afraid and so negative!

Their ANTI-SEVEN HILLS tack is the same argument these same folks (who don’t even live in the city!) used a few years back to try to destroy Worcester’s community development corporations.

These naysayers are just ANTI-all-non-profits! They fail to see the thousands of jobs (with benefits) a Seven Hills provides Worcester/Worcester County residents. Seven Hills is a plus to our local economy – not an albatross. A couple of out of touch developers/millionaires whining once again! God help us! (We all know who they are.)
