The City of Worcester celebrates World Smile Day this Friday!

Last year the free city celebration was held at the library…this is the poster for the 2015 celebration…

I think this REM tune should be Worcester’s World Smile Day theme song. REM is a great American band that’s given the world so many songs about so many human feelings! Plus, this music video is tres sweet!

I’ve been listening to REM since I was a kid at UMass Amherst. Below is one of my favorite REM tunes, from one of my favorite REM albums, AUTOMATIC FOR THE PEOPLE: Night Swimming. Beautiful.
